Read the full Code of Conduct carefully. You must accept all terms to complete registration.
This Code of Conduct governs all participants in the Islamabad International Model United Nations (IIMUN) Cold War Summit 2027, operated by Islamabad Forum for Strategic Studies SMC-Private Limited. By registering, you agree to be bound by these terms in full.
Registration fees must be paid within 72 hours of receiving payment instructions. Early Bird fee (Rs 4,000) applies to the first 40 delegates who register — it is capacity-based and can close at any time without prior notice, not on a fixed date. Standard fee (Rs 5,500) applies to all registrations once Early Bird capacity is reached. Observer fee is Rs 1,000. International delegate fees are communicated personally by the Secretariat after application review.
IIMUN does not issue refunds under any circumstances. If a registered delegate is unable to attend, they have the following options: (a) Transfer their registration to the next IIMUN summit at no additional charge, subject to Secretariat approval; or (b) Transfer their registration to another individual delegate of their choice, subject to Secretariat approval and that individual completing the registration form. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing to secretariat@islamabadinternationalmun.com at least 7 days before the conference. No transfers are processed after this deadline.
All delegates are expected to conduct themselves with the highest standards of professionalism, courtesy, and integrity throughout all IIMUN activities. This includes committee sessions, breaks, and all interactions with fellow delegates, chairs, and Secretariat staff. Delegates who disrupt proceedings, engage in personal attacks, plagiarise position papers, or behave in a manner deemed prejudicial to the conference will be removed without refund.
All delegates must follow IIMUN's published Rules of Procedure in all committee sessions. The Chair's rulings on matters of procedure are final. Points of order must be used appropriately and only for genuine procedural issues. Abuse of procedural motions to delay or disrupt debate is a violation of this Code.
All delegates (except IPC Press Corps members) are required to submit a position paper by January 8, 2027. Position papers must be entirely the delegate's own work. Use of AI tools to write position papers is strictly prohibited. Plagiarism will result in disqualification from awards consideration. Position papers must use the official IIMUN template and be submitted to secretariat@islamabadinternationalmun.com with the subject line: [COMMITTEE] [COUNTRY] Position Paper — [Full Name].
Delegates consent to IIMUN using non-identifiable event photographs and video excerpts for official communications and social media. No delegate may record or publish committee sessions without express written permission from the Secretariat. Personal data collected during registration is used solely for IIMUN administration and is not shared with third parties.
This is an online conference. Delegates must have a working internet connection and microphone. Camera use is strongly encouraged for all sessions. Delegates must join sessions from a quiet, appropriate environment. Background imagery and clothing must be professional. VPN use that disrupts platform access is not permitted.
Delegates are expected to attend both full days of the conference (January 23 and 24, 2027). Delegates who miss more than one full session without notifying the Secretariat in advance will be marked absent and will not be eligible for awards. Award eligibility requires attendance at a minimum of 75% of sessions.
Delegates are encouraged to share their experience on social media and must tag @islamabadintmun on Instagram. Delegates may not use IIMUN branding, logos, or titles in any context without written permission. Misrepresentation of IIMUN in any public forum may result in permanent disqualification from future editions.
IIMUN is operated by Islamabad Forum for Strategic Studies SMC-Private Limited, registered in Pakistan. All disputes arising from participation in IIMUN shall be subject to the laws of Pakistan. The Secretary-General's decision on all matters relating to conference management is final and binding.
IIMUN reserves the right to postpone or reschedule the conference in the event of circumstances beyond its control. In such cases, registrations will be transferred to the rescheduled date at no charge.
